Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Peacock Studio Collection & Breakage Policy
At Peacock Studio, we take great care in handling your artwork. However, due to the unique nature of the kiln-firing process and the fragility of ceramic materials, we require all guests to adhere to the following policies.
1. Collection & Storage Policy
To ensure we have space for all our artists, we cannot store finished items indefinitely.
-
Turnaround Time: Your items will typically be ready for collection 7-10 days after your session. We will notify you via Email when they are ready.
-
Holding Period: We will hold your finished items for a maximum number of 30 days from the date of firing.
-
Unclaimed Items: Items not collected within the holding period will be considered abandoned. Peacock Studio reserves the right to donate, recycle, or dispose of unclaimed items. No refunds or credits will be issued for abandoned pieces.
-
Proof of Purchase: Please bring your collection slip or a digital copy of your receipt to ensure we release the correct items to you.
2. Breakage & Kiln Malfunction Policy
Ceramics is an imperfect science. While we use industry-leading equipment and expert techniques, "kiln accidents" can happen.
-
Studio Liability: In the rare event that your piece is damaged due to a studio error (e.g., kiln malfunction or staff handling error), we will offer you a full studio credit or a replacement piece of equal value.
-
Natural Occurrences: Occasionally, pieces may develop "crazing" (tiny cracks in the glaze), "shivering," or small bubbles. These are natural chemical reactions and do not qualify for a refund.
-
Customer Handling: Peacock Studio is not responsible for items broken by customers or their guests while in the studio. If you break a piece before it is fired, you are responsible for the cost of the item.
-
Post-Collection: Once an item has left our premises, we are no longer liable for any breakage or damage.
3. Safe Use of Finished Ware
-
Hand-Washing Recommended: Unless otherwise stated, we recommend hand-washing your hand-painted ceramics to preserve the longevity of the glaze.
-
Thermal Shock: To prevent cracking, avoid moving pieces directly from a freezer to a hot oven or microwave.
Agreement
By purchasing a ceramic piece and leaving it for firing at Peacock Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms above
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).
We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
